Górnik Zabrze Negotiates Midfielder Sale with Slavia Prague. 21-year-old midfielder Wiktor Nowak was acquired by Górnik Zabrze last year for just 18,000 euros. He was quickly loaned to Wisła Płock, where he had the opportunity to work again with coach Mariusz Misiura, who knew him well. He had a very good campaign, scoring five goals and making one assist. He also broke into the Poland U21 youth team under the guidance of Jerzy Brzęczek, where he demonstrated his versatility, playing on the right flank. Wiktor Nowak impresses with his physical conditions, motor skills, but also technical training and goal-scoring ability. It's no surprise that he's on the radar of foreign teams. Moreover, Górnik Zabrze is negotiating with Slavia Prague regarding the transfer of other players (Ondřej Zmrzlý's purchase and potential transfer of Erik Prekop). In any case, the infotbal.cz service reports that talks are ongoing, although there is no certainty yet whether Slavia will be able to buy Nowak. The contract of the 21-year-old midfielder with the „Trójkolorowymi” will still be in force for two years, until the end of June 2028. The Transfermarkt portal estimates his market value at 1.5 million euros, although it can be assumed that Górnik Zabrze (at least in the initial stages of negotiations) will demand a higher price. If Nowak stays in the team, he will compete for a place in the lineup with Lukas Ambrose, Jarosław Kubicki, and Lukas Sadilek.
