Górnik Zabrze has strengthened its squad with three new players ahead of the new season. The Polish vice-champions have signed left-back Ondrej Zmrzly and striker Erik Prekop from Slavia Prague. The club has also confirmed the signing of winger Bruno Durdov from Hajduk Split. Zmrzly played for Górnik on loan in the spring round and impressed enough to earn a permanent contract until June 2029. Prekop joined Slavia from Banik last summer for over 3 million euros and played 35 matches for the club, scoring five goals. He has signed with Górnik until mid-2029. The duo of Slavia players was valued at 1.5 million euros. In return, Wiktor Nowak moved to Prague. Slavia paid 2.4 million euros for him. The last acquisition, Durdov, is 18 years old and has signed a three-year contract with an option to extend for another season. According to media reports, the total value of his transfer could reach 1.3 million euros, making it the most expensive signing in the history of the club from Zabrze.
