Górnik Zabrze is implementing significant changes in its media structures, appointing a new press officer. Paulina Laby, who has extensive experience in public relations and sports marketing, has taken on this role. Previously, she worked at TS Podbeskidzie and the company STS, making her a suitable candidate for the position. The former press officer, Mateusz Antczak, is not leaving the club but is taking on a new role as the head of media and content. Antczak successfully managed video production and will now oversee the entire team creating the club's audiovisual content.
The new media strategy of Górnik Zabrze aims to strengthen the club's presence on social media and television. Paulina Laby, hailing from Silesia, has nine years of experience in the sports industry. She started at LKS Goczałkowice, serving as a marketing and communication specialist. In 2022, she joined Podbeskidzie Bielsko-Biała as a press officer, where she was responsible for the club's information policy.
In March 2023, Laby joined STS, where she worked as a PR & Sponsorship Specialist. Her experience in PR and sports sponsorship is valuable for Górnik Zabrze, which aims to develop its media. The introduction of new roles in the media team is intended to better manage content and reach fans more effectively.
Górnik Zabrze, as one of the leading clubs in Ekstraklasa, has ambitions to become a leader in sports communication and marketing. The changes in the media team are a step towards achieving these goals, and the new strategy aims to attract more fans and sponsors.
